Beginner Trading Course: 147 Lessons

A self-paced course for beginners (the first module is free) covering trading fundamentals across 23 modules and 147 lessons: profit and loss, stop losses, candlesticks, and long versus short, with a knowledge check after each lesson.

Every lesson cites its sources and separates teaching frameworks and synthetic examples from Tickfloor's own measured research results. Course completion does not validate a trading strategy.

Later lessons cover position sizing, funding rates on crypto perpetuals, and the same multiple-testing problem the evidence page's registry corrects for, so a learner who moves on to that page already has the vocabulary for it. Sources include peer-reviewed asset-pricing papers and exchange documentation, each listed against the lesson that uses it.

Each lesson pairs a short explanation with a worked exercise and a knowledge-check question before the next lesson unlocks, rather than a wall of text with no way to tell whether it landed. Progress is saved on this device, so leaving partway through a lesson and coming back later picks up where you stopped.

The course draws a hard line between three kinds of content: established theory (asset-pricing and market-microstructure research), synthetic worked examples built to teach one mechanic in isolation, and Tickfloor's own measured results, which are never presented as textbook fact. A lesson that uses one of Tickfloor's own findings says so explicitly, with a link back to where that finding is published in full.

It's built for someone who has never placed a trade and wants the vocabulary before touching a live dashboard, not for someone chasing a signal. Each module groups a handful of lessons by topic, and the outline shows completed-versus-total lessons per module so it's clear how far through a topic you are before starting the next one.

See the evidence, the track record, the weekly reads, the research desk, every strategy family, a worked example.
